Background:

The school is located near centre of small market town of Abergavenny, which borders in Brecon Beacons national park. The school had its origins in a church hall in 1860, which moved to its present large, attractive site, with views of the surrounding hills in 1873. Buildings recently modernised and large extension built with up-to-date ICT suite.
